Leadership Camp

F.L.A.G.S. Camp is specially designed for 16-19-year-olds who desire to learn more leadership, ministry, and counseling skills.

The first week of this camp is a training period where campers will hear great messages and learn counseling techniques alongside our Summer staff members. During the second week of camp, leadership campers will have the opportunity to work in various areas of camp including kitchen, hospitality, and serving as an assistant counselor to one of our camp staff!

COST

Camp Cost: $530

There is a $100 registration deposit required with each registration.

Pastor Ward Smith

Parker, CO

Pastor Ward Smith and his family have served in the ministry for countless years and in many different roles including Youth Pastor, Evangelist, and Assistant Pastor. In April, 2001, God called Ward’s family to plant a church in Parker, Colorado, which had its first service on September 16, 2001.

In 2016, the idea for a TMBC leadership camp was born and since its beginning, Pastor Ward Smith has continued to lead the F.L.A.G.S. program.

Bro. Jeremy Sheldon

Hotchkiss, CO

Jeremy grew up in Hotchkiss, CO, on his family’s dairy farm. His first year on staff was in the summer of 2015 where he was the Junior Program Director. Over the years, he has had many roles, but now he will be stepping up into the position of TMBC’s Camp Director!

Two of Jeremy’s favorite verses are Romans 12:1-2. These verses were given to him at a pivotal time in his life when he was contemplating going into ministry. This passage helped him understand that he needs to be a living sacrifice for Christ and that he needed to give his life to serve the Lord.

Evg. Joshua Manandhar

Colorado Springs, CO

Joshua's church first came to TMBC in 2016. After years of being a camper, Joshua came on as a summer staff member in 2019 where he was the green team captain and the game director! Now as a full-time staff member, Joshua is the program director, overseeing games, music, and all program needs.

Some of Joshua's favorite verses are 1 John 2:15-17. "These verses have been used a lot in my life to help me realize what is truly important in life. The Lord wants us to live for His will and be eternally satisfied. Not to live for the things of this world and be empty."
